All five of the Kia Carnival’s trim levels for the 2025 and 2026 model years are comparably equipped under the hood. They draw 290 horsepower from a 3.5-liter V6 gas engine. This engine features an eight-speed automatic transmission and is only available with front-wheel drive. The Kia Carnival Hybrid is also a standalone model with comparable features and styling.

Appearance

While the Kia Carnival is a minivan with sliding side doors and low ground clearance for easy access, it has the visual presence of a crossover SUV. A long, flat roof and a tall, arched hood define the profile. The sides have a sporty design with deep sculpting and lower-body molding. At the front end, the wide grille curves to the sides and is flanked by tall LED headlights. The headlights show off a column of LED bulbs and an amber-colored ribbon that runs vertically before shooting horizontally across the top of the grille.

In 2025 and 2026, the Kia Carnival is comparably appointed. The entry-level Carnival trim comes with premium features like hands-free sliding power doors, an 8-inch infotainment system, second-row captain’s chairs, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, USB ports for all rows, and more.
