In 2027, Kia launches the second generation of the Telluride. The next-generation updates include fresh styling across the interior and exterior. In addition, the Telluride X-Pro returns with performance and tech updates for drivers to benefit from.
The 2027 Telluride’s refreshed exterior maintains its tall, boxy stance and broad dimensions. It has a modernized look, with innovatively styled molding that rounds over the fenders and runs along the lower door panels. Flush door handles are also a new addition this year. Above the front and rear fenders, a pointed, crisp definition adds a contemporary touch. At the front end, you’ll find a swooping, chiseled hood and an almost flat grille. With its rectangular mesh pattern, the grille covers most of the front end. It is flanked by vertical headlights, accented by a pair of amber LED bars. The lower bumper is firmly molded. Notably, the 2027 version is 2 inches longer than its 2025 counterpart.
Two powertrains are available for the 2027 Telluride. A turbocharged four-cylinder gas engine that delivers 274 horsepower replaces the outgoing V6. This evening has a 5,000-pound towing capacity. In addition, a hybrid engine will be available, producing 329 horsepower. It can tow up to 4,500 pounds. Both systems feature an eight-speed auto transmission.
